Cancer Screening Fund

Early Detection is Crucial

Cancer is one of the most devastating health issues impacting our society. According to the National Cancer Institute:

Early detection is often crucial to your ability to make a full recovery from cancer. In addition, catching cancer in its earliest stages will allow for more conservative treatments that significantly reduce your overall costs. For these reasons, cancer screenings are an important component of everyone’s ongoing healthcare regimen.

Pioneers Healthcare Foundation has created a Cancer Screening Fund to ensure these important screenings are more readily accessible to members of our community who lack the resources to pay for them on their own.

What Does the Cancer Screening Fund Cover?

Currently, the only screening available as part of this program is mammography. The Foundation covers a basic mammography reading only, which is performed at Mountain Radiology. In order to qualify for assistance:

  • You must be uninsured
  • You must be a resident, with a physical address, of Eastern Rio Blanco County
