A building’s foundation is constructed over time, piece by piece. The same is true with a charitable organization. Community members have helped lay the groundwork for the Pioneers Healthcare Foundation to achieve our goals. Over time, individual donations from the members of our community have helped us amass the money necessary to fund important healthcare services that Pioneers Medical Center provides to the White River Valley community.
We’re lucky to live in an area that is consistently growing and thriving. However, this also brings additional challenges in our ability to address the rapidly expanding healthcare needs of the region. The cost of providing our services continues to escalate, and PMC’s financial needs are great. Pioneers Healthcare Foundation plays an integral role in raising the money we need, and we can’t do it without the help of our community.

Through the creation of the Pioneers Healthcare Foundation, individuals in our community can support the hospital and its programs under one comprehensive, sustainable organization dedicated to strengthening our community’s healthcare capacity.

In addition, funds from the Foundation were used to purchase the vehicle used by the Walbridge Wing. This vehicle helps our long-term care residents participate in day trips around the area, providing important enrichment to the quality of their daily lives.
