The Meeker Community has a 65-year tradition of caring for one another and delivering compassionate healthcare near the comfort and convenience of home. We are proud to extend that Pioneering spirit into the construction of a new medical facility that aims to support the health journey of each person who lives, works and plays near Meeker.
Through the examples of people like Freeman Fairfield, who first built Pioneers Hospital in 1950, and Mr. and Mrs. Lewis B. Walbridge, who funded the creation of our town’s long-term care facility, we can see how one action – one caring heart – can forever impact the lives of individuals and an entire community.
These examples of love for humanity and one’s neighbors show us the power we have to make a difference.
Such inspiration is the motivation behind the Pioneering Spirit Campaign to support additional services as part of the construction of the new Pioneers Medical Center campus.
